Monster Cup Cakes With Golden Cloud SA

You will need

1 x Golden Cloud Carrot Cake and Icing Mix (follow instructions on the packaging 12 Black cupcake cases
Orange, Blue & Green Gel Food Colouring
2 x 75g Beacon Allsorts Original Mini Liquorice
150g Beacon Pink & White Marshmallows
Toothpicks
Spray & Cook
3 different piping bag nozzles. I used a small star, a large round & large star.

Directions

  1. Prepare the Golden Cloud Carrot Cake and Icing Mix according to instrucAons on the packaging.

  2. Prepare the icing according to the instrucAons on the packaging. Separate the icing into 3 equal parts and use the food colouring to make orange, blue and green icing.

  3. Arrange three piping bags each with a different shaped nozzle. Put the icing into the piping bags.

  4. Once the cup cakes are cool, pipe the icing onto the cup-cakes. Swirl, dot and layer the icing for different effects.

  5. To decorate the cupcakes, use the round all sorts as monster eyes. You can use toothpicks to raise them or put them straight into the icing.

  6. Using scissors, cut the marshmallows into round pieces to make the monster’s mouths. You can cut the round pieces in half to make smaller mouths. I used some big whole rounds and some half rounds.

  7. Have fun with it- monsters aren’t pretty.
